Interview was good, they asked about iron or steel making TTT graph, alloying. They came for the college placement cycle, I gave the interview as an Mme student. For EE, ME, I don’t have an idea what they asked, but for Mme, iron making, steel making, alloying, heat treatment etc.
- Could you draw and describe the iron-carbon diagram?

You start with an online assessment, then there are round 1 and round 2. You need to pass round 1 to move to round 2. After round 2, students who pass will be shortlisted for an interview. The interview includes basic questions about your family, college life, and any projects you did in college.
- Can you tell us about your family and your college experience?
- Have you worked on any projects during your time in college?
Graduate Engineer Trainee
The JSW GET interview process was pretty straightforward and focused on merit. It involved an aptitude test, followed by technical and HR rounds. The interviewers were professional and nice to talk to. I got selected but decided to decline the offer because of the site work and remote plant location. It's a good place for learning, but might not be the best if you're looking for a good work-life balance.
- Can you share details about your most significant project or internship?
- Could you describe the operational flow within a standard steel plant?
- Would you be open to relocating to a remote area?
