First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JR Automation Technologies.
Controls Engineer
Because of Covid-19, it was an online Panel interview with 3 managers and an HR rep. They really seem to be embracing the remote work trend. I liked the suggestion for a remote interview, which was great because I don't live in the city and it saved me a lot of travel.
- Could you tell me about your experience with different types of PLCs?
Controls Engineer
I had a phone interview where the interviewer was nice. I was a bit nervous but I answered all the questions, maybe a bit too quickly. They also asked me some questions about the company, and I shared what I knew about it, and they told me about the company too.
- Questions based on your resume.
Automation Engineer
The recruiting process took place on Linkedin and after a short discussion with the PR person, I got a request for a technical interview. The interview took place via skype and it was very nice.
- Can you tell me about your experience with PLC programming?
- How do you approach problem-solving in automation engineering?
