A recruiter reached out to me and a few days later, an in-person interview was set up. I was expecting to interview with two specific people, but instead, I ended up speaking with two different groups for 30 minutes each, which caught me off guard. They really dug into my education, making me feel like I had to prove I hadn't lied. There was also an inappropriate comment made during the interview that really shouldn't have happened. The second group seemed completely unprepared. I never heard back after the interview, and honestly, I was glad.

This took about 2 weeks. First, I had a phone interview with a recruiter, then I went to the client site for an interview. The recruiter mentioned it would be with two people, but when I got there, I had TWO interviews back-to-back with a panel of three people for each. I felt blindsided and unprepared for that pressure. I didn't get an offer. I had to follow up for an update and the recruiter told me I wasn't a good fit. I asked for feedback to know what to improve, but got no response. It's important to follow up with candidates.

I had an initial phone chat that was set up really fast. We just went over my resume and talked a bit about the job and what they needed. The next week, they had me come in for an in-person panel interview with different people from the company. Everyone on the panel had their own way of interviewing and asked me questions about different situations and also general questions about the company culture. The people were great and really seemed to care about the mission. In the end, it didn't work out because I didn't have the specific technical background they were looking for.
