So we start with a quick chat on the phone or video, usually around 15-30 minutes. After that, there's usually one or more formal interviews. Then we do some assessments to see what you can do. Finally, we have some final evaluations to help us decide. Sometimes we also do background and credit checks.
- Can you briefly introduce yourself?

First, I was given a task to complete. After submitting it, I had a technical interview. In that interview, they asked me about the project implementations, why I chose specific project frameworks, why I didn't use raw database access, and some other technical questions about React, SQL, Express, and Node.js. Finally, there was an HR interview.
- Regarding your project choices, why did you decide to use Prisma instead of raw SQL queries?

So basically, the interview is like a test to see if you're a good fit for the job. They look at your application, then have some calls to screen you, then you do some tests, like behavioral and technical ones, and maybe a panel interview. It's for them to see if you'll fit in and for you to see if you like the job and the company, and then they decide if they want to hire you.
