Finding internship openings online was tough since big companies like TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant don't post them outside of campus events. We had to look for actual job ads with recent dates. We used aggregators like StudentsCircles/Wellfound but only to double-check roles if they linked to an official company page. This means our list is short (7 companies) because not many places publicly list software intern jobs that were active last week. Lots of big tech companies fill their intern spots through campus drives, which aren't advertised online.

First, I was given a task to complete. After submitting it, I had a technical interview. In that interview, they asked me about the project implementations, why I chose specific project frameworks, why I didn't use raw database access, and some other technical questions about React, SQL, Express, and Node.js. Finally, there was an HR interview.

The interview process involved 4 rounds. The first round was an assessment with logical and verbal problem-solving questions. The second round was a group discussion (GD). The third round was a technical interview. The final round was an HR interview where I was given scenarios and asked about relocation, among other things.

I went through three interviews. The first was a chat with a current employee, kind of like a peer. We talked about some technical projects I'd done, but mostly it was about the company culture, what I was looking for, and what Joy was looking for. Then, I had a technical interview with the CTO. It was over the phone, so it was more of a thought-process question that led to a good discussion about solving problems at a large scale. The last interview was with the CEO, and it ended with an offer. We discussed business strategy, company plans, and how my role would fit into it all.
