First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Journeys.
Cashier
The interview process was really good and quick. I was a little bit nervous at first when I started because this was my first job interview but it was really good and calm after a while.
- Discussed availability and transportation.
Cashier
I submitted an application online and then called a few days later to talk to a manager. They invited me to a group interview, but there wasn't really a set meeting spot. There were five of us applying, and nobody else seemed dressed for an interview. The manager came across as pretty arrogant.
- What would you do if a customer was unhappy?
Cashier
I applied for a cashier job online and got a call the next morning. I went for the interview at the mall, but I got lost because I didn't know the mall well and went to the wrong store (Journeys Underground instead of the main Journeys). After some confusion and being directed to the correct store, I eventually found it and was still early for my interview.
- Tell me about a time you helped someone make the correct decision.
