Account Manager
I interviewed a few weeks ago, and am only writing now because I wanted to collect my thoughts. During my interview, the guy interviewing me asked me some very strange questions. Manly about what’s going on in the news. I told him my views on political issues should not be an issue, let’s just talk about the job and role. He pushed, I decided to end call….this company hires racist so not apply or use them to find employees you will only find angry people who like be angry.
- I cut interview short, due to the guy doing the interviewing.
Account Manager
Applied on the company career site after reading about the company on a diversity job board. Went through an initial screener with the Recruiter (30 Minutes). Then interviewed with 2 Senior Account Managers (1 Hour). After that, I had a Written Assignment (about 5 questions). Finally, an Interview w/Hiring Manager (1 Hour). They were not very responsive through the process. In fact, I had to ping the recruiter to get status updates. I thought the hiring manager interview went well and she confirmed as much when I asked ‘do you have any reservations about my fit for the position that I could address?’ She responded that I would be a good fit for the job. After prompting the recruiter yet again (after I was promised a decision in a few days), I received a form rejection email with no explanation or feedback.

Account Manager
My interview experience with Jopwell was really positive! The team members were enthusiastic and communicated openly, making me feel supported throughout. The process involved: 1. An initial chat with a recruiter. 2. An interview with the hiring manager. 3. Chats with team members. 4. A homework assignment. 5. Interviews with the COO and more team members. 6. A final meeting with the hiring manager, after which I received the job offer soon after my references were checked. While I'm not the biggest fan of more than 2-3 interviews, Jopwell made each step feel natural and necessary. I appreciate their thoroughness and am thrilled they hired me.
- Can you share an example of team goals and how you help your team reach them?
