Store Manager
We use something called a PRIDE Model, which we critique and use for performance reviews. It's very simple stuff, for interviews, both phone and in-person. Just be yourself and show you have the Passion to do the job and show off a lot of enthusiasm, but also take things seriously. We will teach you everything, but if you can't show the effort, we won't bother.
- Would you consider returning to a former employer?
Assistant Manager
After an initial phone call, I met with the regional manager and then had a face-to-face meeting with the store manager. Both meetings lasted about 30 minutes, were professional, and provided good information. I was kept in the loop about what to expect next throughout the process. The first part of each meeting involved questions about my past experience, and the second part was dedicated to learning about the company and its benefits.
- What are your 5-year career aspirations?
Sales Associate
This is a pretty standard interview process. Sales experience and understanding upselling tactics to hit targets like UPT, DPT, and EMAC are really important. Also, make sure to highlight your customer service skills because that's a big deal here. They're looking for people who are sales-oriented, have great customer service, and can solve problems while keeping up with a fast-paced environment.
- If a customer wants to buy one pair of shoes, what strategies can you employ to encourage them to buy an additional pair or an accessory, aiming for a UPT of at least 3?
Sales Associate
Hiring for part time roles mostly concerns your available work hours. The managers were nice and the company is flexible with your schedule. I could arrange my hours to fit my school commitments.
