Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at John Hancock.
Customer Support Representative
It was a two manager panel interview, great experience, getting to know the interviewers and telling about myself. Asked behavioral questions, overall felt great after the interview. Sometimes you may feel nervous in interviews, but this was something different, a totally different experience.
- Can you tell me about a situation where you had to adapt to change?
Customer Service Representative
Had a 60 min in person interview with different leads. It wasn't too tough. They're checking for prior call center experience and they give great product training. Might have had a written test before the interview.
- Have you worked with long term care insurance before?
Customer Service Associate
I applied online and they got back to me pretty quick, like in a day or two, to set up a quick phone interview. On that call, they just confirmed my qualifications and went over what the job was about. Then, they set up a second video interview. This one was about 30 minutes with two interviewers, Jared and Lyndsae. It felt like it went pretty well, but after about a week and a half, I got an email saying I didn't get the job.
- Can you elaborate on your resume?
- Tell me about a time you handled a customer situation.
- If you were a piece of computer equipment, which one would you be and why?
