Had a call with HR rep. Standard behavioral questions were asked, and they explained the role. Talked about the recruiting timeline and process and then also about the next steps. I was given time at the end for any questions I had. Connected me with upper management partners.

Behavioral

I interviewed with a number of Partners and Managing Directors, all senior people at the firm. Joele Frank is known as one of the best strategic comms firms, especially for transaction work. I know the work is hard and the culture is very buttoned up. But remember, you are interviewing candidates. There are other firms out there. You need to sell the candidate as much as we need to sell you. Show some personality sometimes! Maybe don't be so uptight! I know you're stressed and working long hours and weekends, but again, why would someone want to work with you or for you if you're generally rough around the edges, not pleasant, and rather dull during the interview process?

Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

So for Joele Frank, first they look at your resume, then we have an initial phone/video chat. After that, it's in-person interviews with the team. They might give you a writing test or a case study. You'll have a few rounds with different people on staff. Finally, you'll interview with a senior exec. Oh, and they do reference checks too. They're looking at how you communicate, if you know the industry, how you solve problems, and if you'd be a good fit for the company culture.

Behavioral Technical

I went through about 7 interviews with 11 people, taking up around 5 hours total. They seemed nice enough, but then they just stopped responding and ghosted me. I tried contacting them a few times to get a definitive rejection. It was wild that after all that, they'd just go silent.
