after I applied, they emailed me for an online interview, which took a few weeks. once I got the interview, I realized it was a group interview so it wasn't entirely focused on one person. they asked me and another person a question about how to handle difficult customers. after we each answered a few questions the interview ended and about a week later I got a job offer.

The interview took a long time because I was waiting past the scheduled start time. Apparently, another group was still being interviewed from before my slot, which shows poor time management. When I was finally called in, I expected a warm greeting given the place's cool vibe, but the interviewer was unenthusiastic and spoke in a monotone, seeming uninterested. The questions were straightforward: why I wanted to work there, my strengths and weaknesses, what I could offer, and my availability. Although my part was brief, the overall wait and the process for others felt like a waste of time. Being one of the last candidates, I felt I had a lower chance of getting hired since many people were interviewed before me, and the interviewer might have already decided. After the interview, I received an email stating I was rejected.

The interview process at Joe & The Juice was a one-on-one, very casual chat, more like a conversation than a formal interview. The manager created a relaxed vibe and asked questions about my personality, previous work experience, and how I handle busy situations. They weren't focused on technical skills but more on my energy, confidence, and ability to connect with customers. The atmosphere was friendly and informal, but they were watching my attitude and how I communicate.
