First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Joe's Crab Shack.
Server
The interview at Joe's Crab Shack is pretty simple. They ask basic questions about customer service, when you can work, and how you work with others. It's a relaxed atmosphere, not much pressure, and it's a fast process. They care more about your personality and if you're willing to work hard than if you have a lot of experience.
- Can you share an instance where you had to manage a dissatisfied customer and explain your approach?
Server
The interview was on-site with the bar manager. We went over my past experience and why I was leaving my current job. They explained what the expectations for this role would be. We also discussed my availability for shifts and what the current schedules look like. They asked about my performance when time was limited.
- Can you tell me about your attendance record?
- What's your reason for leaving your current position?
- What are your availability details for shifts?
Server
I applied online, and then I had a phone interview, followed by an in-person interview and a trial shift. The trial shift wasn't too hard, and they were really nice, though it did take me a bit to get the hang of everything.
- Can you tell me about your super information?
- What makes you want to work here?
- What makes you the best candidate for this role?
