The interview was pretty chill, a simple Q&A on a nice summer evening. It happened at Joe's, in a booth. I guess what was talked about then really set the vibe for the job. It didn't seem like there was much to learn beyond the actual window cleaning itself, and honestly, no real chances to move up.

The interview was on-site with the bar manager. We went over my past experience and why I was leaving my current job. They explained what the expectations for this role would be. We also discussed my availability for shifts and what the current schedules look like. They asked about my performance when time was limited.

I sent in my application online. A week later, the General Manager emailed me. She asked what job I wanted to interview for and my availability. I let her know, and we scheduled an in-person interview for the following week. It was a really relaxed, quick interview. She asked again what position I was interested in. I told her, but then she informed me the host position was already filled, which was a bummer and confusing since she interviewed me anyway. Felt like it was a waste of everyone's time.
