Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jobs for the Future.
Director
The interview process was pretty simple and didn't have any long waits between stages or decisions. It included three rounds of interviews and a technical assignment. Overall, it was a good experience, and HR was pretty responsive.
- Can you describe your process for translating research findings into actionable strategies?
Director
I saw a job post on LinkedIn for a Director position with their innovation lab, JFF Labs. I went through 3 interviews total: there was a 30-min screen, then a 1:1 with the hiring manager, and finally a panel with senior leaders.
- Why are you interested in this position?
- Could you discuss your background and experience related to this role?
- How does JFF's mission resonate with you?
Director
I first talked to the recruiter, then the hiring manager, which I thought was good since the decision maker was involved early. After that, I met with a group of stakeholders and the head of the division. Finally, I had another meeting with the hiring manager to make sure everything was consistent.
- What are your hobbies outside of work?
