A lot of people I know in Tech mentioned how they felt like Jobot was a scam because they never actually talked to a human employee from Jobot. I had my own experience recently, got a call from their AI bot that asked me a bunch of questions. It was frustrating and just overall not a good experience.

You start with a call from an internal recruiter, then a manager from a specific team will call you. If they like you, you'll have a virtual interview with the manager and their lead to talk about your skills. If that works out, you'll do a role-play over video with up to three leaders. If you nail that, you'll have a final chat with the Chief Growth Officer.

Behavioral Technical

Super straightforward interview process! I had several interviews with the hiring manager and some team members. It was a great experience overall. I'd suggest reading up on the Founder/CEO to understand how the company started before your interview! They really want to make sure everyone gets the company values and where they're headed.

So I had this recruiter call first, just normal stuff about my background. But then the recruiter just went on and on about how much they love working there, the amazing CEO, and all these trips they take. It was kinda weird for a first chat. After that, it was supposed to be an hour technical interview, but it went for two hours. The interviewer spent the first hour complaining about their previous workplaces and how mean people were. Seriously, no technical questions or anything about me for like an hour. Then, in the last 40 minutes, we finally got to the technical part. It went great, and the interviewer even said I did excellent and passed, which is unusual because interviewers usually don't say that. I didn't hear anything for 2.5 weeks, even after reaching out twice. Then I got a generic email saying they weren't moving forward, which was confusing after the technical interviewer's feedback. The whole thing felt really bizarre and unprofessional, especially for a recruiting company.
