First, I had a phone screening with a recruiter from the company. It was pretty basic, just asking about myself and my experiences. Then, I had a 1:1 interview with the project manager. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. In the second interview, she really dug into my past experiences, asking for details on how I accomplished certain things. Some questions were like 'Tell me about a time when...' but nothing too tricky.

Behavioral

This was the weirdest interview I've ever been through. I talked to the recruiter, hiring manager, and four other team members over two weeks, about five hours total. A lot of the conversations were odd because after I'd answer something, the interviewer would just go on and on about the company, the team, and the products for like ten minutes, without letting me say anything. It felt like they were trying to sell me on the job, but then I got rejected without even doing a technical assessment. The interviews felt like they were in the wrong order, repeated stuff, and were just handled poorly. It was surprising they'd spend so much time on it before moving on.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview journey began with a brief phone screening, covering standard introductions and career aspirations. Following this, I participated in an on-site interview with three team members. This session involved discussing my background, tackling a couple of technical questions, and understanding the role's responsibilities. This second interview, which was about two hours long, featured very courteous interviewers. Subsequently, I was assigned a take-home data exercise and tasked with scheduling a presentation for the following week. However, scheduling the presentation became problematic, as attempts to book it were met with delays and indefinite holds on the process without explanation. After experiencing this repeated lack of clarity over three or four attempts, I found the situation unprofessional and decided to withdraw my application.

Behavioral Technical Coding

The interview process started with an HR screening, then a hiring manager interview, followed by either a take-home assessment or a coding assessment. The final round was supposed to happen after the HR screening, but after that, they stated they were moving in a different direction for the position, which was a strange and unpleasant experience.
