The whole thing was a really positive experience, from applying to accepting the offer. I was greeted by TA, who explained the role further and let me ask questions. Then I had an interview with HR, where I got a deeper look into the role and the kind of environment I'd be working in. The final stage was a workshop, which was a fantastic interview experience and something I could really learn from. I was then offered the role and everything has ran smoothly.

FREE CONSULTING ALERT!!! the company really needs knowledgable people in the people / talent acquisition area. the process did not look professional to me, nor from a serious company. Filtering interviews were carried out by people who would report to me and I been asked about my salary expectations by them... recruiters don't know the amount of employees and other "details" like business model, structures, etc. the 3rd interview was finally the person I would report to. just a conversation, not a talent acquisition interview. last stage, they gave me an excercise (they call it workshop, not a workshop btw) more like a business case. They told me I would have 1 week to prepare it and present it (had 3 days). the case was about the job itself (free consulting)and I had to present it to 5 people, including a search I had to do on LinkedIn about the people I would recruit for the talent acquisition team (more free consulting). at the moment of presenting they told me they would record it, that felt unprofessional and inappropriate as well. Why did I go through the process even when I felt it was wrong? because it was a management position in recruitment, it is obvious they need help to change their amateur approach to talent acquisition. that would have been my job. from what they shared it is a company extremely vertical. I was really surprised about the amount of layers they have, particularly for a start up (usually very flat). Anyway I hope they find the people they are looking for.
