I met with a committee of peers, HR, and a supervisor. It was pretty straightforward overall. They were open to salary talks, but I couldn't start when planned and had to turn down the offer. I was told the company was a bit old-fashioned and stuck in its ways. They seemed willing to discuss the benefits of moving to Hudson, Ohio. It turned out to be a good thing I didn't go with them, as I would have been laid off when the company went under.

The interview process was pretty standard, much like what you'd expect for most jobs. The questions they asked seemed pretty straightforward, and getting an offer felt achievable. It seems like they might be a bit short-staffed, but that's probably true everywhere these days. Finding jobs and getting hired feels pretty accessible right now, and this role was no different.

It was a three step process. First a phone screen with the recruiter, then a meeting with the department manager, and finally a panel interview with the team I would work with. Each meeting was about thirty minutes.
