I went through 4 interviews, starting with a recruiter screen and then a case study. After that, I never heard back and was ghosted. It was really unprofessional considering how far I got.

Behavioral Technical

I interviewed with JM Search for about 10 hours total, meeting with Partners, VPs, and an Analyst. There were 6 interviews, each lasting between an hour and an hour and a half. A 7th interview was scheduled but then rescheduled last minute, and I never heard back. Near the end, I was asked for references on a Friday, but then learned on Monday they hired an internal candidate and didn't even contact my references. The actual interviews were pleasant, but the overall process felt a bit long and unclear. Salary wasn't discussed until the very end, and when I asked about how many more interviews were left, I was often ignored or told there were just a couple more people to meet.

It started with a 30-minute phone call, then a 45-minute zoom meeting with a partner or principal. After that, I was invited to the office to meet with a total of 7 people. The interviews went well and weren't too tough. They really dug into my resume. The in-person part finished with a 35-minute case study where I had to quickly research a company. It was a good experience overall and seems like a great place if you're into executive search. I turned down the offer because the role was too different from what I've done before.
