First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JLT Group.
Intern
I applied through LinkedIn and went through two interviews on the same day. First, I had an interview with HR, and then with the manager of the area. The manager asked me about my Excel skills and if I could speak English in public without issues.
- What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
- Can you describe your proficiency with Excel?
- Are you comfortable speaking English in public?
Intern
I applied online and received a call a few days later. The HR person asked me some questions about myself and briefly described the position. The HR person conducted a phone interview and asked which departments I might prefer to work in. The interview was mostly a conversation where the interviewer asked about me, my extracurriculars, and my department preferences. The interviewer seemed very relaxed, so I wasn't nervous. It was my first interview, and I learned a lot.
- Which department would you prefer to work in?
Intern
It was a super quick and to-the-point process. Took less than a week and I got the good news that I passed! The interviews were about explaining how the area for the role worked and what my expectations were.
- How would you handle a high volume of work demands?
