Technical Coding System Design

So, the interview had a technical assessment for backend dev using NestJS. It was about building core features for scalable and secure server-side apps. I had to do Authentication/Authorization with JWTs and role-based access, File Uploads using Multer with validation and security, and a simple Microservices setup with NestJS for inter-service communication. It really tested my NestJS skills and if I could design clean, modular, production-ready backend systems.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • Regarding authentication and authorization, what design decisions did you make and what was your rationale for selecting a particular method like JWT versus session-based or considering role hierarchy?
  • Could you elaborate on your microservice configuration, specifically detailing the approach taken for inter-service communication and the measures to ensure decoupling?
  • What were the security measures implemented for file uploads and how were potential vulnerabilities addressed?

Behavioral Technical

So I interviewed for a Product Owner position at JK Tech, and man, the whole thing was a mess. After a few rounds, HR basically told me I got the job, and I sent in all my stuff. But then, radio silence. They completely ghosted me, ignoring all my calls and messages. Weeks went by, and when I finally got someone on the phone, they said the job went to an internal candidate. Can you believe it? They knew that all along and let me hang out there waiting. No transparency, just shady, unethical bait-and-switch stuff. Their communication is terrible, totally unprofessional. They wasted so much of my time and effort. Honestly, it shows a real lack of integrity. I wouldn't recommend applying here; it seems like a really bad sign about how they treat people.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Given that the panel seems to assume SAFE Agile concepts are universally applied, can you discuss your experience with PI Planning?
  • Can you elaborate on your experience with PI Planning and any work you've done with SAFE Agile?
  • What are the opportunities for career growth for a Product Owner at this company?

Behavioral Technical

It had 2 rounds of interview and every round was smooth and interactive. I cleared both but after clearing and HR informed that we will offer your they started asking about my client person name with whom I have worked with as they were also hiring for same client. I have this clause to not share client information for that they agreed earlier that it's good that you are not sharing client information. Later on HR called and said that hiring head wants to have one more round of discussion only after that we will offer you. But that person started asking for client person name and said that if you don't disclose we won't move further for discussion and will drop it to which I politely said that I can't because I don't want to fall in any legal activities if in case I disclose name. Then he said I will drop the call and won't continue and disconnected the call. It was really a bad experience and I won't recommend anyone this organisation as they should have already had this clarity before even taking interviews. HR called me so many times and said you are perfect match and then doing this kind of stuff. I already told them they can check with client if they are ok, i am also ok but this should not be the way. Highly unprofessional thing happened. To say we can not process further if you do not disclose client name. I don't know which era they are working and where is the professionalism for them. Fortunately I got to know before joining as I was already concerned about the negative reviews on ambitions.
