I applied online and reached out to a recruiter. Then I had an initial phone chat with the recruiter. It was pretty straightforward, and they mostly talked about the job and what the day-to-day is like, which helped me figure out if it was a good fit. Next, I went to the office for two 30-minute interviews, one with another SDR and one with the SDR Manager. These were more like conversations, but you really needed to know the company well, so prepping was important. The last part of the interview process was a mock cold call a few days later. This needed a lot more research into the company and its products.

After I applied on Glassdoor, their recruiter reached out the next day for a quick phone chat to see if I was interested in Jive Software. They laid out the hiring steps so there were no surprises. I also liked that they told me the pay and quota upfront. The steps were: 1. Apply online 2. Quick recruiter call (super helpful HR person) 3. In-person interview with the 2 Sales Team Leads and Sales Manager (they were professional, nice, and welcoming) 4. A mock cold call (they said to be persistent and do your research!) 5. A job offer (came really fast) 6. A background check by a third party (it was quick and pretty basic) 7. Orientation! (what a great welcome!)

Applied with resume and cover letter. First was a phone interview with a recruiter to discuss my background and interest in Jive. Then, I had three 30-minute in-person interviews with managers. The first two were with SDR Managers, and the last was with the SDR Director. It felt more like a conversation. I was told I'd hear back the next week about moving on. I heard back in two days to schedule the final interview. The last interview involved a cold-calling and prospecting simulation. I had to find contact info for someone, reach out, prospect them, use the BANT process, and try to schedule a meeting. It took several calls to connect, and then we scheduled a follow-up chat for the next day. I had to be persistent to book a meeting with a sales manager. About a week later, I got the offer.
