This was an online interview process for a fully remote role. The interviewers were great and the conversation was enjoyable. They mentioned that everyone starts at the Accountant I level and works their way up. A CPA isn't required, and someone with just an undergraduate degree should be successful.

The interview process was very calm and the interviewers were great, making me feel comfortable and pleased throughout. There were 3 stages in total to get the job, and my interactions with both HR and Finance were excellent. They were very communicative and helpful.

So first you gotta apply, send in your resume and cover letter, and fill out whatever forms they want on their website or a job site. Then, HR looks at all the applications to see who kinda fits the basic stuff. After that, there's usually a quick call with HR, like a phone or video chat, just to check if you meet the basic qualifications, see if you're actually interested, and if you'd fit in with the company vibe. Sometimes, they might make you take some tests, like for your skills or if you're a good fit personality-wise. The first interview is usually with the person who'd be your boss or a few people. They'll ask about your resume, what you've done, your skills, and why you want this job. They like asking 'Tell me about a time when...' type questions to see how you handle stuff. For jobs that need specific skills, there might be a technical part, like a coding challenge or a problem-solving thing, or even a task to do. Or, for other jobs, it could be a case study or you might have to give a presentation. The next interview, or maybe the last one, is often with higher-ups or the team you'd join. They'll dig more into your experience, see if you'd be a good fit for the team, and ask about your future plans. You might also talk about pay and benefits here. Then, they might check your references to confirm your work history and stuff. If everything looks good, you'll get a job offer with all the details on pay and benefits, and you can try to negotiate it. Some places also do a background check to confirm your background and all that. Once you accept, you start the onboarding, which is like orientation and getting you settled in.
