The interview starts with a punctual phone call at a scheduled time. The interviewer was very approachable and asked pertinent questions while also sharing interesting insights about the company's trajectory and growth. It appears to be a great company with a supportive team.

The interview process started with a phone interview, followed by an in-person interview. After that, you have to pay for your own travel and fly out to interview with another person. This company operates like it's stuck in the 80s, which is strange in today's world of video chat. They require you to travel extensively for the position and cover all expenses out of pocket. Expense reports are submitted via mail, which is really outdated. A company I worked for ten years ago would let you scan expenses to speed things up. This place is really behind the curve. Be very careful with this company and job; if this is any indication of what's to come, I'm glad I didn't get an offer after all the trouble I went through. One last thing, while I was traveling for the job, they mentioned you could expense up to $80 for a hotel room per night. Good luck finding a hotel at that price that isn't a complete dive. I'll stick to my local delis for good sandwiches.
