First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jimmy Choo.
Assistant Merchandiser
The interview was held online via Teams and I met with three members of the merchandising team. They wanted to understand my motivation for wanting to work for the brand and what I felt I could contribute.
- What makes you want to join Jimmy Choo?
- Tell me what you can offer this brand.
- Why did you choose to apply to Jimmy Choo?
Health and Safety Manager
Went through 3 interviews, starting with a virtual meeting with the talent acquisition manager, then another virtual one with HR. The final interview was in person. The whole thing took over 6 weeks, and they had the audacity to suggest I might not be used to a fast-paced environment, despite my experience at major retail and food companies. Honestly, the salary offered is way below average, and I felt like I was the one doing most of the questioning. They mentioned a fourth interview with a director would have been next. I got the impression I was being kept on hold, with regular check-ins just to see how things were going, while they presumably continued their search. My advice: conduct fewer, but higher-quality interviews, and offer better compensation to avoid high turnover.

CEO-Founder
So I applied online and then had a quick call with a recruiter. After that, I did an online coding test. Then, a technical phone interview where I had to solve problems and talk about my past work. This was followed by more technical interviews with team members, focusing on data structures and system design, and how I solve problems. I also had a behavioral interview about my past experiences, teamwork, and handling challenges to check for cultural fit. The day finished with an on-site where I met the team, had more technical talks, and met a senior leader. I got an offer a few days later and negotiated.

Sales Associate
The interview process has 2 stages. First, you just send in your CV. Then, there's a face-to-face interview, which is about 30 minutes long. It's pretty relaxed and has standard interview questions. I heard back a couple of days after the interview.
- Can you share an instance where you handled a challenging customer?
- In your opinion, who are our main competitors?
- Which of our current styles do you like the most?
