Coordinator
I had a 15-minute screening call and was told the position was already filled. The recruiter mentioned they'd refer me to the panel if I was interested in a different role. It's been three weeks and I haven't heard back, so I guess I was ghosted. No follow-up at all. I know you don't owe me anything, but it's not professional to just not respond.
- What are your salary expectations?
- Are you still interested in this role?
Program Coordinator
The first part was a quick ~15 min chat with HR about the job and pay, then they set up the next interview. The second interview was online using Microsoft teams with 3 people. They had a list of questions they asked. The interviewers were a bit late for each meeting, which was a little stressful since it was online. I followed up twice after the interview but never heard back, so I assume that means I didn't get the job.
- What are your plans for the next 2 years?
- What are your plans for the next 5 years?
- What makes you want to work here?
Program Coordinator
I first got a phone call from an HR rep for a phone screen. Then about a week later, they offered me an in-person interview at their DC office. The interview in DC lasted about an hour. The first part was 45 minutes with a panel of three people who were very involved with the contract. It was a pretty informal interview. After that, I met with another HR rep for about 15 minutes. Then they asked me to take a drug screen. JHPIEGO does a thorough background check, including driving, criminal, credit, and transcripts. About two weeks later, I got an email saying I didn't get the job. It was a positive experience overall, but there were some long waits between communications.
- Can you tell me about a time you disagreed with your supervisor?
- What is your preferred work environment?
