Project Manager
I applied online and then had a phone call with a recruiter. After that, I had an on-site interview where I met with both an HR representative and the Hiring Manager. The next steps in the process were a task, an interview with the VP, and then an offer.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Describe challenges you've encountered in past roles and how you addressed them.
Project Manager
First, there was a quick HR chat. Then, a one-hour interview with HR and the team lead where they asked about my past work and personal stuff. Finally, I had a long talk with the CIO about my career path and previous projects.
- Can you share your professional background and details about past projects?
Project Manager
The very first round I had was screening and skillset assessment for the job requirement. I was not successful for the Job requirement. I must stress, irrespective of the result, it's how the interview was conducted that I liked. I felt the interviewer is very supportive and educative person who took time for introspection of how it could be better, what wasn't good, Iterated how it could have been etc. He was in a way too supportive that, he assured that he could help me with other interview as well. That's rare these days to meet such people.!
- Before jumping on to the interview, the interviewer took time to introduce himself, the job requirement, the job role, and his role in the interview. Then the interview started with pretty basic questions about your experience and job role.
