First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JFrog.
Backend Engineer
I interviewed for the X-Ray team at JFrog and it was really bad. The whole process was messy and frustrating. My interviews got canceled or rescheduled three times, which felt disrespectful. I had an initial 30-minute screening with the team lead where we just talked about my resume. Then, I was supposed to have a 1.5-hour technical coding interview with the hiring manager. But just hours before, I found out the interviewer changed. Instead, I had a 45-minute session with a different manager, which was another resume review and no technical questions at all. The next day, they told me I didn't pass because of 'lack of experience,' even though I never got to show my technical skills. It felt like a waste of time and not fair. The recruiter was nice and tried to help, but this team's interview process is seriously flawed. I wouldn't suggest it to others.

Backend Developer
The process involved 4 interviews. It began with an HR introduction, followed by a round with the RND manager where basic OOP questions were asked. Then there was a technical interview with the team lead. The final stages included HR and an offer. The HR and RND manager were nice and professional, but I didn't make it to the third round.
- Can you explain what an abstract is?

- Could you compare node and pod?
Backend Engineer
The interview had 2 rounds total, both via Zoom. The first round was with a Lead and focused on my current work experience and any challenges I've encountered. The second round involved a coding problem and some theoretical questions about topics like Network and Database.
