It was an unstructured, conversational interview with a panel of two team members that lasted about 45 minutes. We talked about my skills, past experience, and availability. They also asked why I applied and how I thought I was a good fit for the Contact Center role.

After submitting my application, it took a few weeks to get a response. First, I had a casual screening call with recruitment, which I wasn't expecting but was a friendly and direct chat. A couple of weeks after that, I had an online interview that was pretty standard, with a few questions about my experience and a couple of behavioral ones.

I submitted my application online. A recruiting agency that posted the job opening reached out to me first. They asked me some questions about my past work and my general personality. Then, they arranged for me to speak with a Technical Lead and a Senior Project Manager from JetStar. During this interview, I was asked questions covering both technical topics and aspects related to working in a company. Both interviewers were really nice and made me feel comfortable throughout the process.

HR contacted me about 2 days after I submitted my online application to schedule the initial interview, which was conducted over MS Teams. I was interviewed by a Senior BA and a BA Lead. They inquired about my experience with agile projects, asked some behavioral questions, and probed my motivation. Around 1 to 1.5 weeks later, HR reached out again to inform me that my application would not be moving forward and provided some feedback.

  • What contributions do you think you can make to our team?
  • What's your strategy for tackling a new project assignment?
