Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JetBlue.
Manager
I had a great interview experience. The recruiter was really helpful and worked with me to get a time that worked for everyone for each round of the process. There were 3 rounds each with a different leader in the organization. We discussed my experience and the expectations. We also talked about the challenges and opportunities.
- Can you tell me how your background aligns with the responsibilities we've discussed for this position?
Manager
It started with a short phone screening, then came the in-person interviews at their office. The front desk staff weren't the friendliest, so try to be extra nice to them... I think they might be part of the process. You'll need to be ready to talk about why you want to work here, share an example of going the extra mile for a customer, and show you understand their core values. Everyone I met was fantastic, and I'd work with them in a second. They're really knowledgeable, have the right attitude, and are genuinely kind and caring. They operate very lean, but in a good way. Expect to meet around 3 or 4 people for about 30 minutes each. It's super important to research the company before you go. Make sure you know the role details from the job description and are incredibly passionate about the company.
- Can you tell me about a time you went the extra mile to assist a customer?
Manager
I was contacted by a talent rep and had a phone screen, then I was brought in for in-person interviews with the talent rep and hiring manager, and then brought back in for more in-person interviews with VPs of a larger work group.
