I applied online and heard back about 3 weeks later. They scheduled a phone screen for the following week. It was pretty basic, the recruiter just went over my resume. She mentioned she'd pass my info to the department manager. Two days later, I got an invite for an in-person interview with the department head the week after that. This interview was mostly technical, but we also discussed the internship details, like what I'd be doing and my responsibilities. I got to ask questions at the end, and it felt pretty relaxed. He said they'd send preferred resumes back to HR, and I'd hear from them within two weeks if selected. After four weeks with no word, I figured I didn't get it. Then, the recruiter called for a third interview, this time by phone, focusing entirely on behavioral questions using the STAR method. Right after that call, they offered me the internship on the spot. My advice: research JetBlue, especially their core values.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process started with a phone interview. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview with multiple team members. I was really surprised by the low pay and lack of benefits for a year-long internship at Jetblue, especially coming from tech companies where I had better pay and benefits as an intern. It seems like Jetblue is behind in their recruitment strategy and might be relying on their brand name to attract candidates willing to accept less, which I think is not right.

I applied and got a phone screen with Talent Acquisition about a week later. The interviewer was super nice. We talked about my resume and the job, and they asked some behavioral questions. A week after that, I had an in-person interview. The three people I met with were engaged, friendly, and honest. They asked questions about the specific role and my experience. Then, the following week, I had another phone interview with Talent Acquisition, which was purely behavioral questions. Both phone interviews were around 30 minutes, and the in-person one was a bit over an hour. I got an offer about two weeks after that. It was a really positive experience overall. It took about 7 weeks from when I applied to my first day.
