Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JetBlue.
Business Analyst
I had a first interview for a business analyst role. The interviewer talked about the kind of candidates they were looking for and asked me about my experience in specific situations. The role was filled by someone already working there.
- How did you handle having a lot of work?
Business Analyst
I was contacted by a recruiter via Linkedin for an initial call. After that, I went through 3 rounds of interviews with different managers. The entire process spanned a month. It felt like a long interview process, and some interviewers didn't have their cameras on and were late. About 3 weeks after the final interview, I got a generic rejection. What's odd is that the job posting is still active, so I'm unsure if they're actively trying to fill the role.
- Can you describe your past project experience?
Business Analyst
The recruiter screening was standard, then I moved on to the hiring manager interview. The job listing had disappeared by the time of my screening, but the recruiter confirmed they were still hiring. The hiring manager asked standard questions, but the whole vibe felt like I wasn't going to get an offer. Also, it's weird that even though this job is mostly online, you have to dress business casual for a Teams meeting.
- Can you describe how you work with others?
