Passenger Service Agent
The interview process itself was smooth and pleasant, with the usual classic interview questions. However, the company's administration was disappointing. I had to wait a month for a response to my follow-up emails, which felt unacceptably slow and frustrating. Additionally, all questions could only be asked via email, not over the phone, which further added to the inefficiency of their communication. Overall, the administrative process was far from ideal.
- Can you describe what the role entails?
- Given a scenario, how would you handle it in this role?
- What motivates you to apply for this position?
Passenger Service Agent
It was an easy interview, they asked for documentation and proof of residency etc. They really try to help you pass by sending you a presentation video via email when they book your interview. Make sure to watch it! The questions were split into 3 parts: about the role, about you, and logistics. The interview location was not ideal, there's a hotel nearby, but public transport options are poor if you don't drive. I brought all the requested documents, but got an email a few days later stating I hadn't provided some documentation (Passport & Provisional driving license, which I brought on the day) and that the Bristol base would contact me. It's been about 3-4 weeks. What a waste of my time. I've contacted them twice and have just been sent emails saying the base will reach out. I asked for clarification on what was missing since I provided the driving license and passport. I've decided to give up on this opportunity.
- What are your thoughts on what this role entails?
- Can you explain how you would commute to work?
- What value would you add to the team?
Passenger Service Agent
So I had my interview for Passenger Service Agent. It was really chill, the staff were super friendly. First, we had this orientation thing, then we jumped into two group activities. After that, it was just me and the interviewer for a personal chat. The first group thing was kinda funny, we had to build a bridge with random stuff and get fake animals across - spoiler, we totally failed that part, but they said it was just to check how we communicate, so no biggie lol. The second group task was more about thinking on our feet, like, what can we do as a PSA to make a family with a kid celebrating a birthday feel extra special during their travels. Then came the one-on-one interview.
- What action would you take if a customer arrived after boarding had concluded?
- How would you handle a situation with an agitated customer?
- Given the unsociable and unpredictable work hours, how would you maintain your motivation?
