I applied online and got a call back about a week later to set up an interview. I met with another server there and the store manager at one of the back tables inside the store. It took about 30 minutes total. Afterwards I had to schedule another interview a week later with the district manager because the interview process in a 2 step process and it took about 15 minutes. Everyone was really nice and even offered me a free gelati before I left the interviews. Told I would hear by the end of the week, but didn't hear back for a month when I got a call asking if I'd like the job. Overall positive experience, except for the waiting (which they explained due to other things going on at the location), as it was my first application and job interview ever. They're really looking for someone with good morals and a positive attitude. Just be yourself and stress being outgoing and you'll be fine.

I sent in my application online and got a response about three weeks later. The interview took place outdoors on benches in front of all the customers, with the assistant and regional managers present. They asked me a lot of questions, about two full pages worth, and the regional manager took notes on my answers. They let me know about a week later if I got the job. I've already had my first day of training, and I've noticed that most of the employees at Jeremiahs are college students, some of whom can be difficult. If you don't think you can get along with a group of girls for long hours, I wouldn't suggest applying here. Making the gelatis is trickier than I thought, the ice cream lever is really stiff and it's hard to get the swirl right without overfilling it and making it look nice.

First you talk to the store manager, then you meet with the area manager. Make sure you're super cheerful and show off your personality because they really value that. Try to find something cool about the store to compliment. I personally liked the indoor seating area and mentioned that.
