Content Manager
Tuve dos entrevistas: una con Recursos Humanos y otra con los encargados del área de contenido para Walmart. Me dieron horarios diferentes en ambas entrevistas porque en RH no lo tenían claro. El proceso fue agradable.
- Could you describe the types of copy you've created?
- Were you interested in being part of a large company in Mexico?
Copywriter
It was just a 5-minute interview, and it didn't feel very personal. I was left confused because I wasn't given a chance to discuss my education and work experience. After that, I was ghosted. I sent a follow-up email but didn't hear back.
- What are your salary expectations?
Content Manager
The interview process had multiple stages. I reached the final stage, which was supposed to be with two heads of departments. However, one of them cancelled last minute, informing the other during the interview because they were 'moving'. They seemed very confident and asked for a very detailed case study. I was sure I would get the job, but after weeks of no response, I had to inquire about the outcome and was rejected. They claim to be very transparent, but that's not true. They treat candidates like any other company. I didn't receive feedback on the case study to understand what went wrong. Later, I found out I couldn't apply for another position at the company for 6 months, which seems to be their standard practice, and it's absurd. Just because you're rejected once doesn't mean you're not suitable for other roles.
- What are your salary expectations?
- Could you elaborate on your past experiences?
- Prepare a written case study addressing a minimum of 8 specific questions.
