Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JD Group.
Supervisor
The interview process was really smooth, with just one round. It was all behavioral questions, no technical ones. You should be ready to talk about your past leadership roles and experiences. Also, mentioning volunteer work can give you more to talk about.
- Can you share an instance where you handled pressure?
- Please describe your previous leadership roles and experiences.
- Can you provide examples from your volunteer work that we can discuss?
Supervisor
Had a phone interview with HR, then an interview with the regional manager. Then there was a 1-month training period at a training store located two hours from Paris in Rouen. It's a good company for training, but the process was in English and there were a lot of procedures to learn.
- What are your motivations?
- Can you discuss KPIs?
Supervisor
Applied online. Got a call two days later to set up a telephone interview date. A week later, had the telephone interview with HR. Two days later, they called to set up interviews with the regional manager and store manager. The next day they asked for references from my previous job. Then, it was a welcome to JD.
- Could you tell us about yourself?
- Can you describe your previous role?
- What character best describes you?
