I reached out to the JCC about job openings and they mentioned they might have a spot for an Early Childhood teacher. It took me about two months of persistent follow-up to get them to confirm they had openings and wanted me to interview. Before the actual interview, I spent time in different classrooms with kids of various ages, interacting with them while being watched. After that, I went to the Education Director's office for the interview.

It was a pretty long interview process. I really liked the curriculum, and the setting and atmosphere of the place were great. The classrooms were beautiful! I would have accepted the job if the salary had been better, even though the benefits were very enticing.

First, there was a phone interview with one of the directors. Then, they'll set up a Zoom or possibly an in-person interview now that things are open. You'll get hired or not after the second interview.
