The interview process involved 3 rounds. The internal recruiter was great. I ended up meeting with the CEO, which was good to talk to people from the bottom all the way up. I never felt rushed during my interviews and always had time to ask my own questions.

I was contacted by a hiring manager in London in September 2020 and was really excited about the job because I was looking for companies with NYC HQs, which this one was. I was interviewed by two MDs in September. Before the interview, they asked for my candidate sourcing and BD strategies and client names in writing, which was strange and felt transparent. After the interview, they told me the next steps, but nothing happened. The London MDs vanished. After two weeks of no contact, I realized I was used for information and there was likely never a job in London. I found out a month later they were laying people off in London, including the hiring manager who set up the interview, but the London MDs supposedly 'forgot' to tell me. It was the worst experience, especially after losing my own job in 2020 and missing out on relocation to NYC. I was devastated and shocked by this treatment from two MDs. I can handle bad news, but being ignored is just bad manners. Pretending to have vacancies while making people redundant sounds illegal. I didn't think any company would do that to candidates, especially this year and after I lost my job. It was extremely unprofessional and cruel. I thought you should know because I wouldn't want your company's reputation tarnished. You're successful for a reason, and this shouldn't happen. That's why I'm sharing this. A client encouraged me to reach out to the CEO, as I wasn't going to say anything and wanted to forget about it, which is why you're hearing this now. I also sent Bryan Zaslow an inmail on LinkedIn about this complaint.

I got an email from JBCStyle about a job opening, asking if I knew anyone who wanted to switch from retail to corporate. I said I didn't know anyone but was super interested and sent my resume and a reference letter. They replied within 30 minutes saying they'd contact me after reviewing resumes. About a week later, I was asked for a Skype interview with the senior VP, which I was really excited about. The interview happened right on time, showing how they respect your time. After that, they asked for my availability for a second interview, which I sent right away. A few days later, I was scheduled to Skype with the CEO and HR Manager. Again, the interview started exactly on time. The chat with the CEO and HR Manager was great – exciting, fun, and funny, which I always appreciate. Now I'm waiting to hear back and keeping my fingers crossed.
