My meeting with my recruiter went very well. She got a feel for my personality and professionalism to place me in a role that fits. You should come in to meet your recruiter like you would be going on a job interview. Why would they send you onto interviews with their professional connections if you weren't on top of your stuff when you met them? Then they will work to get you the job and only if you are a serious applicant.

It was a really chill and laid-back interview. We chatted about the company's origins and what they do. They explained the role I applied for, noting it was pretty new and undefined. Even though the interview itself seemed to go great, things got weird afterward. I got a job offer and called the next day to accept, but they told me to talk to HR. I tried contacting HR for two days via calls and emails with no response. A contact in LA said HR would reach out the following week, but nope, still nothing after multiple attempts. Super unprofessional, honestly.

I got an email from JBCStyle about a job opening, asking if I knew anyone who wanted to switch from retail to corporate. I said I didn't know anyone but was super interested and sent my resume and a reference letter. They replied within 30 minutes saying they'd contact me after reviewing resumes. About a week later, I was asked for a Skype interview with the senior VP, which I was really excited about. The interview happened right on time, showing how they respect your time. After that, they asked for my availability for a second interview, which I sent right away. A few days later, I was scheduled to Skype with the CEO and HR Manager. Again, the interview started exactly on time. The chat with the CEO and HR Manager was great – exciting, fun, and funny, which I always appreciate. Now I'm waiting to hear back and keeping my fingers crossed.

So after you get hired, there's like a month wait, then you gotta do a background check and a drug test. Then you go in person and meet with the CEO and general manager. They'll ask you about your past experience and what you want to achieve in this role. Brian is super enthusiastic and really into the whole thing.
