Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jardine Matheson.
Intern
It was a really long and hard interview process. The questionnaire alone took hours. First, there was a test focused on critical thinking. Then, I had to describe how I would handle different scenarios and justify my choices.
- Tell me about your experience.
- What is your educational background?
- Can you describe your technical skills?
Intern
The interview process was smooth with a fast turnaround from the HR team after I applied with my CV. It included an online aptitude test and a Cappfinity test with a recorded job simulation and personal questions. Then, there was a Zoom HR interview where I had to answer pre-prepared case and fit questions.
- What do you envision for the future of the firm?
- Can you describe your future career goals?
Intern
It was a virtual Q&A interview that was pre-recorded. The first part involved some digital tests, and the second part was about how you'd handle different scenarios and the reasoning behind your choices. It wasn't super tough, but you couldn't really talk about your resume or personal background.
- How would you handle a crisis based on a given scenario?
