Behavioral Technical Presentation

The hiring journey was pretty drawn out and detailed. First, a recruiter reached out, and we had a brief phone chat about my basic qualifications. Then, about two weeks later, the hiring manager called me for another interview, focusing on my work history and sales background. The next step was an in-person meeting with the hiring manager, which lasted about an hour and involved a deep dive into my past sales successes. He was happy with how that went and immediately invited me to the next stage. About a month after that in-person interview, I had a group interview with four people at once. They really went through my resume and pinpointed any experience I have that aligns with the job requirements. I got a job offer about 24 hours after the group interview. The whole process spanned roughly three months.

Behavioral Technical

It started with a recruiter phone call where they asked basic questions about my previous jobs. Then, I had to complete a few online assessments. After they reviewed my scores, I did a video interview where I had to record myself answering questions. Next up was a phone interview with the regional sales manager. This interview felt aggressive. I'm not sure if it was a test of my reactions or how I'd handle tough situations, but it really surprised me. The manager was 45 minutes late, which was okay since it was in the evening, but when I asked if I had the right time, he reacted aggressively and made me feel bad. The interview continued in the same vein, with him asking similar questions in different ways. I kept answering, but I'm not sure if I wasn't clear enough or if he was testing my response to frustration. When it was my turn to ask questions, I asked why the job was open to gauge advancement opportunities. He took offense and snapped back, asking why it mattered. This was the final warning sign for me. I thought the interview went terribly, but surprisingly, the recruiter called the next day to say I was moving on. I politely declined and withdrew my application.

Behavioral Technical Other

I was first contacted by a recruiter for an initial screening that lasted about an hour. After that, I had a preliminary interview with a manager. Then, I was invited to Chicago for what they call a 'combine'. This involved three interviews in three different rooms, with two interviewers in each room. Some interviewers used a 'good cop, bad cop' approach, while others were more pleasant. They also administered an intelligence test and a personality test, but I wasn't shown the results. It was challenging, but not as difficult as I had anticipated.
