HR was super nice, but then it was all engineers. The interviews were totally technical. Had 4 interviews: first with HR over the phone, then online with managers, then a face-to-face panel with department leads, and finally a panel with directors. Also had to do online aptitude and psych tests. Made it through the first 3 interviews fine, but the position got pulled because of budget issues.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Started with a quick 20-min chat with HR, mostly asking basic behavioral stuff and to talk about myself. If they liked me, I had to do this recorded online interview with 3 questions for management to see. The last part was the on-site. I met with a few engineers and management folks, talking with each for about 30 mins. After that, we did a tour of the place, had lunch with the engineering team, and finished with a chat with management. The whole thing took about 5 hours.

The interview process included a phone call with the recruiter, followed by a Wonderlic test. Then, there was a phone interview with the hiring manager. If it's a more senior role, there are likely additional steps before the on-site interview. The initial HR call was very general. The phone interview was a 'get to know you' session to gauge interaction. Some questions were about my experience, especially my senior design project from over three years ago, though I didn't recall specific execution details. The on-site involved two interviews with two managers each, plus a plant tour. My senior design project came up again, which was surprising given my actual work experience.
