First, I talked to the hiring manager, then an engineer, and finally had an onsite panel interview. It was pretty chill, everyone was nice, and they covered travel and food. Afterward, they showed me around the facility and I had lunch with other EDPs.

The interview process starts with a phone screen from the company recruiter, followed by another phone screen with the recruiting manager. Then there's a Wonderlic test and a personality test. After that, a phone screen with the hiring manager. This is followed by 2-4 onsite interviews where you'll be meeting with groups of 3-6 people including managers, supervisors, and engineers. There's also a plant tour. This process is pretty standard for larger companies. You might feel like you're wasting your time until you get to the panel interviews with managers. I encountered management from different plants and at least one executive with a confrontational approach in each of those.

Applied for the job and after 3 weeks got a call from a recruiter. A week after that, I did a video interview. Then 2 weeks later, I had a lunch meeting with the department head and the engineering manager. The following week, I was brought in with two other candidates for what felt like a group interview. They didn't ask any hard questions, mostly just wanted to know about the hours I'd worked, stories from managing previous projects, and what I do in my free time. A week after that, they talked to me about salary expectations and asked if my number was negotiable. I told them to just make an offer, and it was lower than my current salary.
