First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at James G. Davis Construction.
Project Engineer
The interview process typically starts with a recruiter screening call. This is usually followed by a 45-minute interview with two senior project managers, which happens about a week later. Generally, the whole process is completed within a single day, as DAVIS prefers not to prolong it.
- Could you describe your prior internship experiences?
- What has your experience been like in college up to this point?
- Do you have any experience in leadership roles?
Project Engineer
The interview experience felt promising initially and the job seemed like a good fit, but then I was left without an offer and without communication for a couple of weeks. It was disheartening because things seemed to be going well and the interviewers appeared to like me.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Project Engineer
The interview process was quite laid-back and conversational. All the interviewers were really nice and approachable, making it easy to talk to them. They were very welcoming and happy to answer any questions I had. I had three separate interviews, each with two interviewers at a time, and then a final follow-up with the VP.
- If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
