Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jama Software.
Account Executive
It was an amazing experience, super organized, fast, and they were really caring and detailed with guidance. They provided great prep materials, and we aligned on everything clearly. I really enjoyed the conversations with the teams, and the people had great characters.
- Tell me about your sales experience at your previous companies.
- What distinguishes your past employers from one another?
- What's your strongest attribute that makes you a standout sales professional?
Account Executive
The interview process kicked off with a 30-minute intro call with the director of sales. After that, I chatted with an Account Executive to get a feel for the day-to-day. Next up was an interview with the VP of Sales, where I was asked for my Jama Software pitch and to describe my sales process. The final step involved preparing and delivering a mock sales presentation about Jama or a product I currently sell to the VP and Director of sales. The whole process moved along nicely, felt fair, and did a good job of sorting out candidates.
- Can you give me your Jama Software pitch?
- Describe your outbound sales process and your experience working with SDRs.
- What would be your thirty, sixty, and ninety day plan?
Account Executive
It was a pretty standard interview process. I had a phone interview, and then met the team at their office. Nothing too difficult or unusual about it. The company seems good. I didn't end up taking the job at Jama Software.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
