First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jama Software.
Solutions Consultant
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I met with the hiring manager and an HR person, and they were both super nice and helpful. It was a 3-round process where I got to meet everyone on the team and get a sense of what it's like to work there.
- Can you share examples of how you've engaged with customers in the past?
- Tell me about a situation where you had to deal with a challenging customer.
- What's your method for figuring out what a customer really needs?
Program Manager
Kudos to Jama for keeping me in mind throughout the process. Communication was great, responses were fast, interviews were scheduled quickly, and everyone was friendly and thoughtful. I wasn't selected to move forward, but they gave me useful feedback on my strengths and areas for improvement. In this day and age where ghosting is common, interviewing with Jama was a really positive experience.
- What's your strategy for getting hesitant employees on board with KCS principles?
Customer Success Manager
A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. I had a good chat with them, then with the hiring manager. We connected well, and they mentioned there would be more steps, including a mock assignment. Although I didn't get to the mock assignment, I appreciated the hiring manager sending a follow-up email with feedback on what they liked and why I wasn't selected. They were very upfront.
- Can you share an experience where you had to inform a customer about the discontinuation of a feature or product?
Technical Project Manager
The interview process was really efficient and thorough, and honestly, kind of fun. It had a few stages. First, I talked to someone from Talent Acquisition, then I met with the hiring manager. After that, I had a panel interview with three people, and to wrap things up, I met with a Senior VP. Everyone I interacted with during the whole thing was just exceptional.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- How would you handle this specific challenging scenario?
- Let's dive into some fun questions to get to know you better.
