Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jaipur Rugs.
Manager
This was a time-consuming interview process. Interviewers would make me wait for hours to join scheduled interviews. After clearing multiple rounds, I was rejected in the last round without any reason. It was a complete waste of energy and time, and highly unprofessional. In between one of the interviews, the HR raised her voice and spoke rudely, which is not how HR should behave.
- Why did you leave your previous company? (And a sarcastic remark: If I hadn't left my previous organization, I wouldn't be free to attend your 10 rounds of interviews.)
Management Trainee
First, the founder did a personality mapping. Then there was a call with HR and the Management team. After that, I was given a task to prepare a presentation about an innovative approach for Jaipur Rugs. The interaction was really good and motivating. They value your attitude the most, as they believe they can teach other skills within the company.
- What is your purpose in life?
- What are your values in life?
Assistant Manager
We had a group discussion first, and then a personal interview. The group discussion was essentially a case study discussion within the group. The team passed around a case study with questions on it. We had to discuss the problems and solutions for the case.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
