The process had a few parts. First, a quick chat to get things started. Then, a technical interview where they asked about Java, DBMS, and my projects. They wanted to know about my projects, how I solve problems, and my understanding of basics. Lastly, an HR chat to check my communication, attitude, and if I'm a good fit for the job.

Technical Behavioral

The process was a bit unusual. The first round was online and involved in-depth Python questions, lasting about an hour. I qualified from that. The second round was a techno-managerial one. I was invited for a one-on-one interview at the Jade Global office in Pune. The office was located on the outskirts, and the cab cost Rs. 400 each way. Upon arrival, I was given a laptop and directed to an empty cabin. When I asked the HR, he mentioned it was a one-on-one, not in-person. It was quite a funny experience.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • A lot of questions about Python were asked. Standard Python questions.
  • In the techno-managerial round, they asked if I had experience with specific technologies.

I applied for both Operations and Financial Analyst roles. An HR rep called and said I was selected for an Operations Manager interview and set up a Gmeet call with technical HR. But during the interview, the HR person asked me to introduce myself and then asked why I wanted to be a Financial Analyst, which was weird because we didn't talk about that before. I told her I thought it was for Operations Manager, but she still asked me basic finance questions, and I said ok. The Technical HR person was nice. It was concerning though, because if I knew it was for finance, I could have prepared better.

I got a call from a recruiter about an AI/ML job at Jade Global in Hyderabad. They told me the interview would be in person at their office. I agreed because I was really looking for a job. I checked company reviews online and saw a lot of negative comments about their interview process, with people saying it's a waste of time and they don't take it seriously. I was hesitant but went to the office on September 1st, 2023, because I needed a career change. The first part was a test covering ML, MLops, Azure, and NLP. I felt I did really well and found out I scored 97% that same evening. However, I followed up with the team for three days about scheduling the next part of the interview, but they kept giving random excuses. It's really unethical to waste people's time like this. Based on my experience and the reviews, it's totally a waste of time, and I suggest ignoring any calls from Jade Global. It feels like spam.
