The interview process involved a 40-question timed assessment, followed by a 30-minute remote interview with the director. Then there was a 45-minute in-person interview with the director and two others. The final round was a 1.5-hour interview with the CIO and two other IT directors. This whole thing took three weeks and I felt it was a waste of time because I got negative feedback in the end. It's hard to get time off work for these interviews if you have a regular office job.

I had four interviews in total, spread across two days. First, I met with HR personnel, who I assume were gatekeepers. Then, I had two interviews with the attorneys I would be assisting. One of the attorneys wasn't available on the first day, so I had to come back for a second meeting with them. Everyone was really nice and made me feel comfortable. The skills tests were pretty tough though – I had to pass a typing test with a minimum speed of 75 words per minute, a really detailed and tricky proofreading sheet, and a standard spelling test.

The interview process was a half day, which I thought was a good amount of time because it allowed potential colleagues from other departments to meet me and get to know me. It also gave me the opportunity to ask some of the tougher questions I had in mind. The process started with a writing/grammar test. After the test, I had an interview with the HR manager, followed by an interview with the department manager and my direct manager. Finally, I had a conversation with a panel of individuals I would be working alongside.

I had an online interview with the recruiters first. Then, I had an online interview lined up with the hiring partner, but she didn't show up. She was supposed to call me to talk about the role, but she never did. After that, I had an online interview with a different partner. Finally, I had an in-person interview with the recruiters and the partner.
