First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jackson Spalding.
PR Manager
Had a screener call with the talent acquisition team which went fine, but then I didn't hear back. I even asked the interviewer a question and she ghosted me. Pretty sure I was rejected at this point. I'd say be careful if you have a screener here because even things they say they'll do after the call don't seem to matter.
- What are your salary expectations?
PR Coordinator
After initially feeling good about the interview and the company, I was asked to do a writing assessment after the first interview. They said they would review it and let me know about next steps. I spent 2 hours on the assessment and sent it in via email. After that, I heard nothing back. I sent a few follow-up emails asking for updates and thanking them for their time, but I was completely ghosted. It was a really disappointing experience given how much time and effort I put into it, only to be ignored.
- What makes you want to work at JS?
Communications Director
It was a very thorough process. I started with a recruiter/HR call, and then they set up several interviews with different account leads. They wanted to see which account would be the best fit for me across multiple interviews.
